Rev Wyn Hughes
Pastor
Born in Llandudno and brought up to attend chapel, I came to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ during my time at University in Aberystwyth. I was for four years a secondary school teacher, before being called to the Christian ministry. Serving for six years in Caergwrle north Wales, I became pastor of Heath church in 2005.
Rev Dr Nathan Munday
Assistant Pastor
Nathan comes from Carmarthenshire, and he’s been our assistant minister since 2024. Born into a Christian family and then born again when he was seven years old. He’s married to Jenna from the Netherlands who he met in Heath’s International Open House. They have a little boy called Seth Johannes and a little girl called Anna.
Before being called into the ministry, Nathan worked in various sectors from academia to international development. A highlight for the Mundays was their period at Tŷ Mawr Wybrnant, a library in the wilderness and birthplace of Welsh Bible translator William Morgan. Nathan enjoys hillwalking, creative writing, and studying on the EMW’s Theological Training Course.

Dr Michael Packianather

As a child, I was brought up in the Roman Catholic faith. Then, at the age of twenty-one I heard the Gospel and became a born again believer. It was while I was studying in Cardiff that I started attending the Heath Evangelical Church and obeyed the Lord in going through the waters of baptism. Later, I came into membership together with my wife Leena. I love the Lord Jesus and count it a great privilege to belong to Him and serve Him. I also lead the work of the missionary committee in caring for our missionaries who are proclaiming the Gospel in different parts of the world. I was appointed an elder in 2024.
