As a church, we seek to make a special effort to welcome international students who come to the city.
We organise a wide range of events and activities throughout the year, including our weekly “Open House” meetings, Bible studies, day trips, student lunches, weekends away and various social evenings. All these events provide an excellent opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, practise your English and take a break from work and study. All international students are very welcome.
If you would like to find out more information about any of our activities, please click on one of the links below, or you can contact Levon Chorbadjian, or use our contact form.
Children and YouthThe church offers a number of different youth and children’s activities and meetings, and you’re very welcome to join us. Click on the link below for details of the meetings and the age groups they are aimed at.
Youth ClubsThese are informal meetings with activities, games and an evangelistic talk. They are great places to make friends, have fun, and find out what Christianity is all about. They are led by an enthusiastic team of leaders who want to share the good news of the gospel with the children and young people, as well as providing fun and enjoyment for them.
Sunday School and Bible ClassThe church holds Sunday Schools for ages 3-11 during the Sunday morning service. Click here for more information.
Thursdays 10.00am – 11.00am
The Toddler group meet, during school term-time. As well as mothers, we welcome dads, grandmas, childminders and any other carer with children. People come from all different faiths and backgrounds and find a warm welcome.
Heath Church Hall
The group is run by a team of Christian mothers from the church, who have children and want to share their faith in Christ through this outreach.
We aim to be a friendly, caring group where we can relax and share our parenting experiences and help each other along a little.
The children have lots of fun playing with the large range of good quality toys. The older toddlers also have a Bible story, activities and crafts. At the end, we clear the toys away and gather on the mats to sing action songs, and the children love to join in.
At the moment, places are limited so you will need to book each week. Please contact email@example.com . Booking will open on the Monday before each Thursday group.
All adults are required to wear face masks, unless medically exempt.
Due to current government restrictions, we are unable to provide a cup of tea/coffee and a snack for the children as we used to, but feel free to bring your own if you wish.
There is no charge as such for our group, but you can give a voluntary contribution of up to 50p to help towards our running costs, new toys etc.
Many parents and children have found our group to be the highlight of their week. We would love to invite you to join us.
Women's Bible Study
Wednesday, 10.15am(Currently via zoom. Contact the office for zoom details.)
Every Wednesday morning (term time), a group of women gather together for a short Bible Study. It is open to all ages, and we would love to see you whether you’re a student, a mother, or an elderly person. The meeting takes place via Zoom, and we begin by singing a few hymns. Keith Batstone then leads the Bible Study, usually going through a book of the Bible (e.g. John), a particular theme (e.g. faith) or the life of a Bible character (e.g. Joseph). It is an informal, interactive Bible study, with opportunities to ask questions and discuss topics, if you feel you would like to.
